The detailed drawing of the design, which was originally created using watercolour and photography, beckons the viewer onto the pistes of St. Moritz, the birthplace of the alpine sport at the heart of the Engadin valley. The brilliant colours are achieved through the intricate 12-stencil print. "Engadina" is printed on Christian Fischbacher’s fine cotton sateen, a soft and feather-light cotton that weighs just 100 grams per square metre.

For the "Engadina" bed linen, Christian Fischbacher uses the finest Supima cotton, one of the world's most exquisite types of cotton. Supima, short for Superior Pima, comes from the south-west of the United States and is known for its exceptionally fine extra-long-staple fibres. These give the fabric a silky smooth feel, brilliant colour, and lasting durability. Even after many washes, the bed linen stays soft, beautifully smooth, and elegantly radiant.
