"Farfalla" - the butterfly - is a design by Enzo Mari for the Italian design brand Alessi. The nutcracker made of shiny polished stainless steel was designed at the end of the 90s and had remained unpublished until 2021.
Its production is a tribute to one of the masters of Italian design, who designed many beautiful, practical and durable things long before the word "sustainability" existed.
