Franck Benito is the third generation to run his family business, Cristal Benito. His studio has gained worldwide recognition with highly complex cuts on custom-made crystal. The honeycomb pattern is one of his two signature patterns. As each honeycomb is set by hand, the pattern grows organically cut by cut. The entire surface is then polished to bring out the interplay of clear and matt surfaces.

The chrome-plated brass elements are made purely by hand in the Cristal et Bronze manufactory near Paris. In the hands of traditionally trained craftsmen, glass and metal merge into one. The "Nid d'Abeilles" collection encompasses the full Cristal et Bronze product range, from soap dispensers and toothbrush tumblers to storage trays, jars, tissue boxes and a stunning wastepaper basket.
