Forge de Laguiole has reinterpreted the "Lou Buré" butter knife, an iconic design by the cutler Stéphane Rambaud. The walnut butter knife is not only beautiful but also practical since, unlike conventional knives it can be placed vertically on the table.
The handle is made of walnut, which gives it its elegant curve. The blade is made of extremely hard, stainless T12 steel. Unlike its "Lou Buré" model, the "Walnut" butter knife by Forge de Laguiole has no stainless steel base.
As walnut wood is a completely natural material, each "Walnut wood" butter knife is unique. The colour, veining and grain may vary from one item to another.
