Discover porcelain on a new step of evolution. The "Evolution" collection by Hering Berlin adds a new dimension to the universe of the master porcelain manufacturer. Designer Stefanie Hering breaks with her usual, strict formal language by introducing hand-modelled, organic ribbed structures. Depending on the glaze colour and the food served on it, the biomorphic structures evoke perpetually new associations. Sometimes they look like flowers, vegetables, animals or water, sometimes they defy concrete interpretation – an invitation to culinary and visual experimentation.

"Evolution" complements all Hering Berlin tableware collections. Mix and match your Hering Berlin favourites; all available colours are already perfectly coordinated. Use individual objects from the collection for serving and presentation or as table decorations.

Hering Berlin creates porcelain tableware purely by hand according to the highest quality standards. The refined designs look effortless while being enormously demanding to craft. Only a few select porcelain masters are capable of producing tableware for Hering Berlin. Matt biscuit-porcelain rims and borders alternate with flawlessly glazed centres. The coloured variations are cast with mineral glaze colours specially developed by Stefanie Hering. Creating the fine colour gradients and sharp contours requires the highest level of artistry.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.

For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
