"Deer" sculpture by Lladró

"Deer" by Lladró is an homage to the king of the forest, one of the most beautiful and elegant creatures in the animal kingdom. The only colour used in the decoration is a touch of ocker luster carefully applied with fine brushstrokes on the animal's magnificent antlers. The metallic finish contrasts with the matte white and further enhances the deer's imposing figure.

The pose, standing on four legs, calls for precise technical control. The Lladró piece requires 15 different molds to obtain the various fragments that compose the sculpture "Deer".
