Influential designer Jasper Morrison, known for his pioneering philosophy of the "super-normal", has created lightweight salad servers with archetypal shapes for the collection that achieve a perfect synthesis of form and function through subtle optimisations.

Japanese artisans refine the radical lines of the wooden salad servers using a traditional lacquering technique called Fuki-Urushi. By repeatedly applying and wiping off the natural urushi lacquer with soft cloths, a thin layer of lacquer is created that protects the wood and artfully enhances its natural grain with a silky sheen. This gives the fine cherry wood an authentic and powerful elegance that contrasts magically with the flawless surfaces of silver-plated tableware. A visionary extension of Puiforcat tableware that defines a new relationship between wood and silver.
