On the high-quality "Orbit" plates and bowls, golden planets glide around an imaginary orbit. The internationally renowned designer and artist Marta Salas-Porras from San Francisco has given each piece its own constellation. The sleek lines of Hering Berlin’s classic "Velvet" dinnerware provided the basis for the elegant and modern design of "Orbit". Both dinner services can be beautifully combined, making it possible to vary the amount of gold to fit the occasion. The rims of the plates are of matt, soft biscuit porcelain and feel like silk, and they contrast beautifully with the transparent glaze in the centre.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.

For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
