Raynaud's "Italian Renaissance" collection is adorned with a rich floral decor. This decor is inspired by wall coverings from the 19th century, with which the most famous residences and noble houses, for example, the Buckingham Palace, were decorated. Raynaud collaborated with the English brand Lincrusta®, renowned since 1877 for its incredible wall coverings with opulent and deep embossing.
Colours and variety of shapes:
To produce "Italian Renaissance" requires particularly careful handwork in the workshops of the Manufacture Raynaud. The elegant decor is finished with matte colors or precious metals such as platinum and gold. "Italian Renaissance" is available in many different iridescent colours. Please take a look at our colour overview: "Italian Renaissance" colours (view PDF). Within each color there are pieces with full decor and partial decor. The partially decorated pieces have a white outer rim.

Cleaning:
Clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side, as it may damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.
Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher and allow the steam to escape after the program has finished.
Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).
Microwave:
Pieces without gold or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
