The "Bugs Gilded" tumblers by Artel are the result of a highly unusual production technique along with a generous helping of genuine 24-carat gold.
Inspired by artfully detailed botanical drawings from the 1700s, the bug motives appeal to nature lovers and design lovers alike. Faithfully rendered butterflies, dragonflies, flies, mayflies, wasps and other winged creatures flutter translucently within the delicate crystal.
The Artel bugs are delicately hand-engraved into the glass surface. Finally, each insect is hand-gilded with 24-carat gold for a stunning effect.
