Each glass from the "Saturn" bar range from Artel is mouthblown and hand-cut. The graphic-based design takes its inspiration from the rings of Saturn.
Karen Feldman took her inspiration from textile artwork. The founder and chief designer of the Czech crystal glass manufacturer Artel has transformed a typical fabric motif from the Art Deco period into a glass design.
The glass is sandblasted in order to recreate the characteristic texture of the fabric. The result: a modern graphic décor with a seemingly velvety enamel.
Each "Saturn" glass from Artel is completely handcrafted and thus completely unique.
