In 1926, the company founder René Lalique began to create sculptures and design objects out of crystal glass. In 2010 Lalique brought out its collection "Hommage à René Lalique" and reinterpreted its earlier "Victoire" Art Déco design. The then "Victoire" sculpture from René Lalique adorned the top of the radiator bonnet of many luxury cars.
