The "Soda" set of bowls provides a prime example. These bowls of finely sculpted bisque porcelain have been refined with fine cobalt lines. Painted by hand, the line is very precise and gives the beautiful "Soda" bowls a particularly elegant appearance.

The "Soda" bowls by Hering Berlin are not only attractive, they are also totally practical. The interior surface of all the bowls is however glazed so that they can be used either as coffee or tea cups or for sauces and rice for example.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.

For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
