The extensive “Tommy” series also includes this wonderful footed bowl. Richly detailed cutting distinguishes the “Tommy” collection as one of the most important and famous from the French crystal glass manufactory Saint-Louis. This fame may also be due to a nice anecdote entwined around this classic series dating from the year 1928: on the occasion of a visit by King George VI, a “dinner” was given in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, and the place of each guest was set with eleven glasses of the “Tommy” series. Each bowl is still produced today in France’s oldest glass factory with great skill and precise craftsmanship. You will find further items from the "Tommy" line below.
