The "Cha" tea service by Alessi was inspired by the Japanese tea-drinking tradition. Indeed, "Cha" is the Japanese word for tea. The design of the "Cha" tea service is deliberately minimalist and comes from the Japanese designers Naoto Fukasawa. Yet the apparent simplicity of Cha is deceptive, the designer has given a great deal of thought to every individual detail.
The "Cha" tea service by Alessi is the perfect combination of a kettle and a teapot and is made of durable stainless steel. "Cha" is supplied with a large filter for tea leaves. The magnetic steel bottom is suitable for induction cookers.
For people who like to drink their tea with milk and/or sugar, there is a matching "Cha" sugar bowl and "Cha" milk jug by Alessi. The design of the milk jug is also well thought out; thanks to its design shape, it sits comfortably in the hand and is practical to use. Without disturbing the overall concept of the design, the barely distinguishable lip outlet ensures that there are no annoying drips from the jug.
