"Anno" espresso cups, set of 2 by Bernardaud

A design by Sylvain Dubuisson for Bernardaud: the "Anno" espresso cups and saucers are made of Limoges porcelain and are available with a platinum-plated or gilded ring. They are delivered as a set of 2 in a beautiful gift box.

Sylvain Dubuisson proves that you can not only question shapes, but also reinvent design. The French designer and architect created the espresso cups with handles that are not attached to the side of the cup but circle around it like rings. This not only looks great, the unusual design also has a very tangible advantage: you can no longer burn your fingers.

Cleaning:
You can clean your porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and mild dishwashing liquid. However, be careful not to use the abrasive side of the sponge, as it may scratch or damage the surface of the decorations, especially gold or platinum.

Your porcelain is also perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Choose a low-temperature cycle and do not exceed the recommended amount of detergent. If you do not wash the porcelain immediately (by hand or in the dishwasher), we recommend rinsing it with warm water. Make sure that the pieces do not touch each other in the dishwasher.

Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver, or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver, or platinum decoration: not suitable for the microwave, as Bernardaud uses a high percentage of precious metals in these designs.
