Follow the "Maya" seahorse by Daum into the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. The small sculpture is created from pure Pâte de Cristal using the elaborate lost wax process. Tiny details bring the naturalistically depicted seahorse to life. A subtle colour gradient from navy blue to turquoise gives the sculpture the appearance of being made of crystallised seawater. For the Maya collection, Atelier Daum was inspired by the underwater worlds of the Riviera Maya, a popular holiday region on the Caribbean coast in south-east Mexico. The collection transforms ordinary underwater scenes into extraordinary compositions made from everlasting Pate de Cristal.
