Velvet by Hering Berlin

Hering Berlin presents "Velvet", a collection of crockery which is so unmistakably the work of the talented, young Berlin designer Stefanie Hering. As was the case with her vases, bowls and votives, she has chosen a sensuous white as her basic material. The edges of the plates are made of smoothed silky matt, unglazed bisque porcelain and form a pleasant contrast to the translucent glazed inner surfaces. The edges also promise haptic pleasure as the soft surfaces resemble the feel of velvety silk.

Cleaning:
Bisque porcelain is dishwasher safe. Remove stubborn residue by soaking in soapy water and cleaning with the scouring pad of a sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only on unglazed surfaces.

For bisque porcelain with precious metal decoration hand washing is recommended, but some decorations are suitable for the dishwasher. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, not the abrasive side. When using a dishwasher, select a low-temperature program and the recommended amount of detergent. Ensure that the pieces do not touch each other and that steam can escape after the program has finished.

Avoid temperature shocks. To avoid friction when stacking, we recommend using intermediate layers (e.g. "Artedona" plate dividers).

Microwave:
Pieces without gold, silver or platinum decoration: microwave safe.
Pieces with gold, silver or platinum decoration: not suitable for microwave use due to high precious metal content.
