The "Berlin Pianta" porcelain dinner service from KPM is based on the famous "Berlin" shape that was designed by Milan designer Enzo Mari for KPM in 1996.
The "Pianta" flower design is based on the Weichmalerei style of painting (using softer colour schemes), which was popular in the late nineteenth century. The wild flowers, painted using a technique similar to watercolour painting, cast a shadow on the porcelain and look so real that they seem to be floating. A wide choice of different flower designs makes it possible to put together a very individual dinner service.

KPM - the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin - stands for unique, stylish porcelain design of the highest quality. KPM's skilled handcraftsmanship, developed over generations, continues to be carried out at the original location.

In 1763, the legendary Prussian king, Frederick the Great, gave the company its name and emblem. The royal blue sceptre has become a symbol of the standard and quality of each masterpiece leaving the manufactory.
