The "Masque de Femme" trinket dish is made of crystal glass and produced and engraved by skilled Lalique craftsmen by hand. "Masque de Femme" shows the face of a mysterious, smiling woman, who is surrounded by a mystical water landscape. This impressive Art Deco motif dates back to 1935 and is by the Art Deco artist and Lalique founder René Lalique. The artist took his inspiration for this artistic design both from the female figure and from nature. The "Masque de Femme" motif is very popular with Lalique aficionados.

In 1926, the company founder René Lalique began to create design objects out of crystal glass. Nowadays, Lalique products are coveted collectors’ pieces, in part due to the fact that they tell their own story. With his creations, René Lalique succeeded in breathing poetry into glass, a material normally regarded as being somewhat frigid.
