Christofle’s "Silver Time" collection defines the leisurely breakfast anew: as a luxury brunch. The collection of about twenty items includes among others things a samovar, various dishes, a bread basket and trays – an unconstrained but nevertheless luxury group of serving aids.
French designer Jean-Marie Massaud designed the "Silver Time" products for Christofle. He has made his name for his unique design language, which combines minimalistic, yet strong, shapes with organic elements. The "Silver Time" collection for Christofle bears the designer's inimitable signature. The samovar is, for instance, a highly modern creation. Perched on three feet, the serving ensemble for soups or punch has such a graceful shape that it actually seems to float.
Apart from these eloquent shapes, another design detail distinguishes the appearance of Christofle’s "Silver Time" collection: an intricate engraving of the Christofle company logo – similar to that of a signet ring. Not one but two ultra-modern materials are used in the "Silver Time" collection from Christofle: extremely resistant borosilicate glass and sustainable flax fibres. The outstanding quality of the "Silver Time" tea service is another perfect example of the 150 years of experience that Christofle has in this field.
