About the dinnerware by Hering Berlin
The porcelain manufacturer Hering Berlin has approximately fifteen different dinner services in its portfolio, all of which have individual names. Nonetheless, the concept of Hering Berlin is that all the elements should be able to be combined with one another. For this reason, all of the individual pieces display an identical underlying signature style despite their quite different design. With her pure forms, the Berlin designer Stefanie Herring takes the traditional material of porcelain and presents it in a completely new and elegant way.
The “Cielo” perforated dishes can be wonderfully combined with the "Pulse" dinner plate with their dynamic grooves. The “Piqueur” dinner service is adorned with delicate illustrations from the forest. Yet it would still be a perfect partner for the matt dinner service "Polite Silver".
All of Hering Berlin’s dinner services have in common not only this mix-and-match philosophy but the fact that they are made by hand and in line with the highest quality standards. The interplay of glazed and matt biscuit is one of the leitmotifs of this constantly developing product range. Its feather-light, perfectly finished design is always refined, as is the material, its texture and the colour of the individual collections. In short, it is in the combination of the different Hering Berlin dinner services that really produces the design fireworks.
