The "Vecchio Ginori" white porcelain from Ginori was designed in 1740 and has remained one of the classics of the traditional Italian brand renowned for high-quality, handmade porcelain. The individual items of the "Vecchio Ginori" line have a particular stylistic expression. Delicate and playful details give the items their highly distinctive and recognisable character. To produce the luminous white colour and to guarantee the particular resilience of the porcelain, two firing processes are necessary one at 1000°C and another at 1400°C. Over the past centuries the Ginori brand has gathered a lot of experience in the art of porcelain manufacture. The firm was founded in the year 1735 near to Florence. Even today all the company’s products are manufactured by hand in Italy.
